Meet Our Instructors

YAN

Yan started yoga out of curiosity when she discovered that the two bodyworkers who inspired her a lot, Yamuna Zake and Ida Rolf, were both yogis. Their revolutionary insights and approach to the human body were probably built on a strong mastery of the self through the practice of yoga. Yan is a certified Yoga teacher with the International Yoga Teacher Association (IYTA) and a certified Yamuna® Body Rolling Instructor. She is on a mission to help people become more aware of the relationship between the way they hold their bodies and the muscular imbalances that ensue. Her classes are designed to bring about balance of the body, mind, and soul.
Yan is also specialised in Yamuna® Foot Fitness which makes her the person to go to with your questions about your foot issues. In her classes she teaches you the importance of the fitness of your feet for a healthy functioning of your total body.

YVONNE

Yvonne is passionate about her yoga practice and is a certified Ashtanga Yoga Instructor. Her yoga journey began after experiencing much calm and inner peace from attending a yoga retreat, she decided to embark on her 200 hour yoga instructor training.
Yoga has taught her many lessons, including to be patient with herself, to appreciate her body, including all her limitations and to be mindful and present both on and off the mat. Yvonne hopes to be able to bring these lessons to her clients and help them on their own personal wellness journey both physically and mentally and most importantly, to be at peace.

ICE

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Titisa ‘Ice’ Jeamsakul is a registered Yoga Alliance instructor. She holds the Yoga Instructor Certificate (RYT >200 hours) as well as the Pre & Post-natal Yoga Certificate (PPN >85 hours).

She started her yoga training as a supplement to her Diploma in Dance Studies (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore), as well as her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance (London Contemporary Dance School, United Kingdom). Her yoga practice has evolved alongside her motherhood experience. Ice’s journey with Yoga has taught Ice to be mindful of the present moment, and vastly honed her ability to listen to both the body and the inner self, in turn understanding the need for both to co-exist in harmony.
Ice hopes that her practice can help others establish self-acceptance, as well as develop a compassionate relationship between the body, mind and soul. She emphasizes the need to remember that “we are in this altogether”, and Ice always feels privileged to be part of her students’ yoga journey.

EKA

Eka’s first touch with yoga was in 2009 when she needed a mechanism to cope with intense work-related stress. She started taking weekly yoga classes and began to realise the benefits and the transformative effect it had on her.
After having been through a challenging career in sales and fashion industry, she came to realise that she wanted to re-direct her energy to recover and re-centre herself, practising yoga became her focus. She completed her teachers training and has not looked back since. She realised the importance of being present in the moment and continues enjoying her journey of discovery.
Eka feels that what she has personally experienced physically and mentally through the benefits in her own life, she aspires to share the joy of yoga with others, to assure them that they are good enough to dispel their belief that “I’m not flexible enough or strong enough to do yoga”.

ISHRA

Originally from the UK, Ishra trained as a professional dancer where she combined daily dance classes with Pilates exercises. Her move to Singapore saw her leave behind her career and settling down to start a family. An unfortunate result of this new lifestyle saw her suffering from chronic lower back pain, which led her full circle back to Pilates.
A main area of interest for Ishra is women’s health, she has specialised in many aspects of Women’s Health including Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates, Pilates for Menopause, and Diastasis Recti Healing. Ishra enjoys using GYROTONIC® and Pilates as a means of Body Conditioning and improving general fitness.
She also has a particular interest in healthy ageing and uses GYROTONIC® and Pilates, as well as other modalities to help clients tap into their therapeutic potential and find their own route to whole body wellness.

Daryl

Daryl is a multidisciplinary artist and an individual who aspires to ignite mindfulness, compassion, peace and love in the world through his work.

On his venture into holistic wellness, Daryl encountered Yoga and was inspired by their philosophy and benefits. He embarked on his Yoga Instructor Training (200hrs) so as to share accurate knowledge and sustainable practices with his family and friends. And as he delved deeper into his studies of mental and physical development, he took an interest in Pilates, GYROTONIC, strength training and motor behaviour conditioning.

Even though his mission for wellness is ever on-going, Daryl hopes to share his available time and knowledge with others who are also on their personal journey. He aims to provide engaging and quality experiences, and always welcomes new ideas and challenges.
